If I lived downtown or if Charleston were more public transportation friendly I would so take advantage of this and think it was awesome,but considering I’d have to drive downtown to take part it really wouldn’t make a difference to me. But for those of you who do live downtown -huzzah to you if they follow through with this.
Absolutely, one of the best shopping experiences I remember was on King St. a few years ago at Christmas when the street was closed to through traffic. Crossing to shop from side to side was a true pleasure.
